A Pedicure at home by Rubina Ratnakar

Some of us have really sensitive skin and try to avoid using any chemicals in our skincare routine. Organic products are getting really popular as they are really beneficial and are mild on the skin. When we talk about skincare, we talk about our hands and feet as well. After all, they are the ones that face most of the heat and dust. We spend a lot of money on pedicures in a spa in order to get clean and healthy feet. What about saving the money and having a pedicure at home? This is possible, as you can do pedicure at home only. This will save you from a lot of expenditure and will be a healthy product as well. In this blog, Rubina Ratnakar lists some ways in which you can have a natural pedicure at home.

Let’s start with all the equipment you will need when you are looking forward to doing a pedicure on your own. The most important ones are a pumice stone, a nail filer, cotton, moisturizers, scrubber, towels, warm water, nail paint remover, a cream, and a nail polish of your choice.

There are many steps while doing a pedicure. The first step is to remove the nail polish and trim your nails. Make sure you give your nails a good shape.

The next step is to soak your feet in warm water and give them a good massage. The next step is to scrub your feet with a scrubber and use the pumice stone as well. In this step, you should remove the dead skin from your feet and get rid of the tan as well.

When you have cleaned your feet, clean them with a towel and apply a moisturizer. You will see the change in your feet after all these steps.

The last step in your pedicure is to apply a nail polish of your choice on the toes.

It is up to you if you want to use natural products or some skin care products prepared chemically. All these products will go in the warm water soaking step.
