Tips for healthy hair by Rubina Ratnakar

All of us are somewhere disappointed by our hair and want it to be somewhat better. Everybody loves healthy and shiny hair and does a lot of things to achieve that. In this blog, Rubina Ratnakar highlights great tips for healthy hair.

Starting with haircare, washing your hair regularly, and keeping them clean is an important thing. We should save our hair from dust and pollution to keep it healthy. When our hair is either too dry or too oily we should alter our hair wash routine. If you have an oily scalp, you can switch to washing your hair on alternate days.

Shampoos and conditioners come in large types these days. You can choose from them according to your hair type and the brand you like. One important thing to be kept in mind is the chemical content of the shampoos. With all the other factors, you should also look for a chemical-free or a shampoo with comparatively fewer chemicals.

Oil your hair regularly. You should oil your hair before washing your hair as oils provide many nutrients to your hair. Not oiling your hair at all may be a mistake that is responsible for the deteriorated quality of your hair. An oil massage can be a great way of relieving stress as well.

Avoid giving a lot of heat to your hair. Using straighteners and curlers to style your hair regularly is a way by which our hair gets damaged. Look for natural ways of styling your hair to keep your hair healthy.

Drink lots of water and eat a properly balanced diet. The health of your hair is highly affected by the type of food you eat. Green leafy vegetables, nuts, fish, and eggs are some of the foods that are beneficial for your hair.

Another thing to be avoided is blow drying your hair. Your hair may look amazing after the blow-dry but it may damage your beautiful hair. Dry your hair naturally to avoid such problems.
