Having sensitive skin and don’t know what to use? We have got you covered. Rubina Ratnakar brings you another very interesting blog on ways to care for your sensitive skin.

You know your skin is sensitive if you see your skin getting red and itchy on using very mild products. If you have sensitive skin you should switch to products that are organic in nature. We bring some great natural ways to deal with your skin.

You should start by using soaps that are free from flavors and fragrances. It should be light in nature.

Whenever you are using a product for your skin which you have not used before, you should first test it. Apply to a small area and then check if it reacts to your skin. If everything is alright then you should apply it to the rest of your skin.

Avoid things that are too much acidic or too basic. One of the examples is lemon juice. Due to its acidic nature, it can cause burns and redness to your skin.

Using products like coconut oil will nourish and moisturize your skin. Do not use too much of it or it will block the natural oil-producing capacity of the skin.

Since you have sensitive skin, natural products are the best to use. Apart from coconut oil, you can use honey also. Honey will act as a cleansing and toning agent for your skin. You can even use cocoa powder in a mixture of honey and coconut oil to make a mask. This will also help you to treat your sunburns. Cucumbers have high water content and they give a cool and hydrating feel to your skin. They will repair your skin and even act as an anti-aging agent.

Using fruits like papayas and mangoes for your skin is a great idea as they will provide vitamins to your skin and act as a moisturizer too. You can use them as face packs also.

Another skin problem you face is the darkening of your skin. If you don’t want to use any artificial product you shall use potatoes to remove the darkening and enlighten your skin. Peel the potato, grate them and use them as a scrubber. Using cornflour to remove tanning is one of the best and different ideas for your sensitive skin.
